Thanks to Tim and Rina, our visit to the wine country of Piedmont was all we'd hoped for, and more. Every morning, over a fabulous breakfast courtesy of Rina, Tim would have suggestions for the day's itinerary. He would provide maps and "Tim Schematics" of the area we were to visit, as well as suggestions for restaurants, side trips, and... More

The plans that Tim and Rina made for our 9 days with them were amazing! Nothing was left to chance. The care they took in our daily schedule and all of the wonderful food and wine did not go unnoticed by any of the guests. All details including checking on our lost luggage to helping with cancelled flights were just... More

Just returned from touring a bit of Switzerland and France but the highlight of our travel was a visit to Villa Sampaquita in Asti, Italy where Tim and Rina were our most gracious hosts during Palio Week. Tim scheduled our time with wine tastings and visits to Asti,Turin and other nearby historical sites, but the emphasis this week was the... More

In September 2014 I spent a wonderful week in Italy. My purpose was visiting of traditional Palio in Asti with exiting medieval parades and also horseback riding through picturesque surroundings of Asti with thousands of vineyards. Villa Sampaguita is an ideal place for making such vacations in Piedmont region. Here you have a wonderful possibility to live in a very... More

Another wonderful stay with Tim and Rina. We are very fortunate to be able to visit Italy and quite often, the Piedmont region annually. As always we have a wonderful stay and find it to be an ideal base to visit one of the finest gastronomic and wine rich regions in the country. After many, many visits this year we ventured... More

Our family had a great visit to the Piedmont region and found this B&B on a website. My wife, daughter (studying abroad in Milan), and I traveled from Milan for a great weekend. Tim gave us great directions. Definitely recommend a GPS if you are driving out this way. It was a lifesaver a few times. We stayed in one... More

Went here on a girls weekend. Got there later than expected and they were waiting up for us to make sure we arrived safe. The place was lovely and cozy. The breakfast Rina cooked were amazing and cooked how you wanted, made 99.9% from scratch! Tim was full of information about different places to visit and local events going on... More

Some good and some not so good. Firstly the hosts have a great knowledge of the area and give plenty of advise on where to explore, being knowledgeable on all tastes (we were there for food, walking and the scenery rather than the wine). Also the room and en-suite were large, clean and pretty well appointed (no fridge or kettle... More

The hosts, Tim and Rina, are warm, helpful, and English-speaking. The Villa is lovely, nicely appointed with heavy antiques and bright colors. Breakfast is delicious--coffee/tea, breads, fruit, yogurt, house-made granola, cheese, eggs to order. Tim provides excellent counsel, direction, and maps for navigating day trips. If you're fortunate, you can catch one of Rina's yummy dinners. The Villa is a... More
