Our needs were few and they were mostly satisfied. The hotel room was clean enough, although the towels had a few old stains on them and weren't particularly good for drying. The TV and other facilities worked fine. The front desk was reasonably clean although breakfast was a bit disappointing. The coffee was sometimes cold. Juice wasn't always available and... more

When we first arrived and went to our room the lights did not work. I tried calling the front desk. It rang about 20 times with no answer. Since we were in the very back of the hotel, I had to get in my car to drive to the front desk, and was given another room. When we went to... more

I had to come back onto the hotel review sites and share my experience at the Days Inn at Niles/Skokie in Dec 2008. IT WAS FINE! Safe. Clean. Accessible. Affordable. Obviously if you are reading reviews on the Days Inn, you must be looking for a deal. Here you've got it. No frills and plain but you definitely get your... more

When we checked in, our first clue that there might be problems was the filthy, ripped open box springs directly outside the door to our room. In the room there were four lamps, although three of them did not work! When we turned on the light in the bathroom, the vent began to screech like there was a wounded animal... more

We had booked this hotel for 2 days in advance online. When we checked in, the receptionist asked to see my id, and after looking at it said, "oh, we don't accept guests under 21 and you can't stay here." Nowhere on the website did it even MENTION anything about an age limit, and we had figured since we were... more

We paid $70 including tax for the hotel. I had booked a smoking room with a king bed & upon arrival was told that they upgraded us for free since they were overbooked & sold out. We got to the room & it was non-smoking. I promptly called the desk & they apologized & brought me ashtrays and said just... more

I wish I hadn't booked through an online service so that I could have left the second I walked into the hotel room. The room smelled horribly of smoke covered up heavily by an awful air "freshener". There was no screen on the windows, so in order to air out the room, we had to let bugs in. There was... more

We pre-paid for this hotel for two nights but left after looking at two rooms. It was run-down and smelled like smoke and urine. more

We stayed a week and they only wanted to provide maid service twice. After complaining to the manager I finagled a third day of cleaning. Most of the stay I had to make the bed, empty trash and get towels myself. When I complained to the manage I got a rude response and no improvement. Bathroom light out, cord fell... more

I figured a Days Inn would be a Days Inn..pretty standard, nothing fancy. But this was disgusting..room numbers were taped to doors..walls had holes in them, and swatstikas carved in them..no remote for the tv..and the smell was awful, curtains ripped, filthy..just filthy more
