Very impressed with the period correct sitting areas that greet you as you enter the home. The history and elegance of this older structure is certainly in full view. The rooms were nicely decorated and clean, although the bathroom was a bit cramped in our 2nd floor room. There was a good bit of sound that came through the walls... More

My wife and I stayed at the Nauvoo Grand for a getaway weekend along the Mississippi River. Although our first stay at the Nauvoo Grand, it will certainly not be our last! Our room was Beth's Forest on the second floor. In keeping with all of the guest and common rooms we saw, the attention to both cleanliness and detail... More

This was our 1st time to ever stay at a bed & breakfast and we enjoyed it! We were only suppose to stay one night and ended up staying another night. The Nauvoo Grand was beautiful and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again and recommend anyone else to stay here. The price was... More

My husband and I stayed there last weekend. We had a wonderful stay. We stayed in Esther's Garden on the first floor. The room was lovely, relaxing and very clean. The daily breakfasts were so delicious! They were so accomadating of a dietary restriction! It's was fun to go across the street to the winery and shop at the little... More

On a recent visit to the Baxter Vineyards, Nauvoo, Il. We stayed at the Nauvoo Grand Bed and Breakfast. The B&B is located on the grounds of the vineyard, and downtown Nauvoo is a short jump away. Baxter's is the oldest vineyard in Illinois, and the main shop is right across the road from the Grand. The Grand is an... More

We picked this property from the reviews on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed. The property is out of the main tourist action of town but it is not far off the beaten path. The manager and her daughter are absolutely wonderful! Our visit was shortened by a serious medical issue and they were particularly helpful in directing us to the... More

We can only assume that the former guests of this beautiful, quiet, clean, comfortable and "unique in overall character in Nauvoo B&B" are keeping their visits here a secret so they will find it available when they want to return. The five reviews we find here are several years old and, though largely complimentary, not entirely accurate as of this... More

We loved the Nauvoo Grand! It is situated in a beautiful, quiet area off the beaten path, surrounded by trees and greenery. The hotel is decorated with wonderful antiques and the bedrooms were just as beautifully decorated. The host (Jo Ellen) served us a wonderful gourmet breakfast each morning. She was very helpful in giving us information on places to... More

The Nauvoo Grand is a great place to stay. Gloria the innkeeper is very sweet and makes a terrific breakfast. She is more than willing to make reservations for you at local eating establishments. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definately recommend it.
