Stayed 1 night. Nauvoo motels close in the evening and don't have on-line resevations or prices. Hotel and Motel Nauvoo are the same owners, just a few blocks apart. We first ate at the Hotel which had great food at a good price. We then checked in to the motel (room 1). A well-kept, 50's "U" shaped motel. Small room... More

This property is an old-style motel. However, it is very well maintained and close enough to all of the historical spots to walk. Clean rooms. Decorated nicely with quilts etc. Check in is down the street two blocks at Hotel Nauvoo. Would recommend highly.

Good ol' fashioned motel, without the roaches. Nice and clean. Nice little hospitality room. If we ever come back to Nauvoo (which I don't think we will), we would stay here again. A/C units in room are very good and make a nice, steady noise at night (we like white noise when we sleep) and keep the rooms nice and... More

Our family of 5 visited Nauvoo this week and we the suite at Motel Nauvoo. We checked in down the road at the Hotel Nauvoo, and then went to the Motel. We opened the door and our first impressions were of how large our suite was. There was a lot of room! We had two bedrooms, a kitchen, a dining... More

This is a nice, no frills motel, with nice clean beds and bathroom. There is a little "snack room" where you can get ice, hot tea, cookies, etc. It sits back from the street and is very quiet. Very good value. You do have to check in the the Hotel Nauvoo down the street, which is a very good place... More

I chose this based on reviews that said it was clean. That's the most important thing for me and I was not disappointed. I have stayed above the Mercantile in the Smith Suite. Winter rate was worth it. It was more "loved" than our room at the Motel Nauvoo though. I have stayed in the Log Cabins. They weren't as... More

The rooms are clean though cramped, excellent for couples. There is a room bigger but may not generally be available. They use to on the off season provide a certificate to the all you can eat breakfast accross from the Hotel. My son booked this, but the place would have been not enjoyable with two toddlers, so i gave up... More

This was such a pleasant, clean and quiet motel that I wish I could stay longer and would love to return. It was actually less expensive than motels in nearby towns and much more pleasing. I was a travel weary person and the staff was kind, helpful, considerate both on the phone and in person. There are plenty of plugs... More

If you're looking for a very clean, cozy and affordable place to stay in Nauvoo, you'll find it here. It is conveniently located near the historic area, though not as close as the Hotel Nauvoo that is operated by the same management. There is free wireless Internet, although they did have an outage one night. There is also a discount... More

I had a room in the Motel Nauvoo just a few blocks east of the Hotel. It was a single room, with a double bed, chair, dresser and TV, desk and chair, and a good-size bathroom with shower. I found it quite charming. It had a front and rear window, so there was a lot of light. The bedspread was... More

Thank you for your gracious comments. Even though we aren't the biggest or the newest, our family has been in this line of business in Nauvoo for over 60 years, and we try very hard to be the best. Your compliments really help make it all worthwhile. Good news! Even though we had problems with our wireless Internet service during... More
