We stayed one night in the Nauvoo Log Cabins and just loved it! We stayed in the Van Vleet, which is TINY, but just perfect for our overnight. It sleeps 6, but the two of us were perfectly cozy. They're affordable, clean, well-stocked with amenities and have refrigerators, microwaves and TVs with Dish. Close to the town center, too!

My girls loved staying in a log cabin. We usually stay on the Ft. Madison side of the river when visiting relatives in Iowa, but I think we'll be going back here next time. We stayed in the Danielson Cabin. It was nicely appointed and slept two adults and two kids comfortably and could have slept a couple more easily.... More

My family and I stayed in the Sanders Cabin and found the cabin to be comfortable. We loved the king bed. The fully equipped kitchen was nice and having breakfast in our cabin every morning saved money. We stayed 4 nights and had 4 full days to explore Old Nauvoo which was a perfect amount of time to see all... More

We stayed 4nights in the VanVleet cabin. It was quite comfortable, clean and cozy. Having your own outhouse inside (a real bathroom), was fun, the bed was very comfortable. The room had a microwave and refrigerator, wifi and dish TV. It was a way to experience life in old Nauvoo, but with modern conveniences. This stay was one of the... More

We stayed for two nights in the Bebe Cabin. There were 4 adults and 6 small children between two families and we had more than enough room. This cabin has one full bathroom and a half which was great with so many people. The cabin was well equipped with kitchen utensils, including, paper towels, dish washer tablets, towels and much... We just stayed in the Van Vleet cabin with our 3 year old and 1 year old. This is not your typical hotel stay - it's more of an authentic way to experience how people lived back in early Nauvoo. We were easily able to fit a pack n play in multiple spots throughout the cabin. There is a fridge... More

Accommodations were nice. The Bebe family cabin has a fun layout with a small loft for 1-2 kids. A few basic items were missing like a blow dryer and an ice maker in the freezer (there was 1 ice tray). The on-site museum was interesting. They are about 5 min from Historic Nauvoo (beyond simple walking distance), but there are... More

My husband, daughter and I stayed in the Howell Cabin for three nights. The cabin was very nice, king bed and bunk beds. Full kitchen and nice bathroom with a shower and the beds were very comfortable. Felt like home. The museum on the property is filled with information, photos and many nice period pieces. We will always stay at... More

Very quiet and private. Private master bedroom was wonderful. Well-equipped kitchen--not lacking anything. I didn't like the faucets in the two bathroom sinks--they had the old-fashioned separate hot and cold. Also, one bathroom had no shower, only a bathtub. But those were minor problems.

A trip back in time with old fashioned cabins modeled after the originals along with a story about each family. Small little kitchens with all the necessities, fridge, etc. We are staying in the Sanders cabin, which has a nice separate king bedroom. They do have internet and a nice flatscreen tv. They knew we were arriving after 5, so they... More
