My wife and I spent a few days in Nauvoo last summer. She had visited before on a road trip across the country but I had never been. We had a great stay and found the hotel to be more than adequate. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the buffet downstairs was decent. It was a bit... More

Just enjoyed a very nice stay at Hotel Nauvoo. We were in Room 4, nice large, clean. The employees were very nice and attentive. Very quaint hotel, beautiful curved staircase. The restaurant has a wonderfull delicious buffet. Enjoyed our stay & it was convenient to relatives in Hamilton, Il

I'm glad we chose to stay in this 170+year old Hotel because it was one of those things you should experience at least once. However the room was so small (room 8) there was barely room for us and no room for luggage. It may have worked well for one person traveling light. We ate dinner at the buffet which... More

The food was uniformly fresh, well-prepared and plentiful. The salad bar was especially impressive. We received prompt and consistent attention. The atmosphere is welcoming. Our group had a delightful time.

We were very satisfied in paying a few extra dollars to stay here, walking distance from the Nauvoo temple and everywhere else. Spotless clean rooms, a lot of space and comfort. The restaurant below and around are just great. We will definitely be coming back.

My family and I ate here for dinner one night and we all enjoyed it. We all decided to do the buffet - they had a good salad bar as well as a hot buffet and a carving station with ham, turkey and roast beef. The buffet included fried catfish, which my 7 year old loved, mashed potatoes, fried chicken,... More

This charming hotel is a delight. There are only 8 rooms and we stayed in #8 and it was very nice but remember, it was built in 1840 when rooms were very small. As a man 6 foot 3 inches and 240 pounds, I was afraid to burp because so doing would probably blow out a window. The restaurant is... More

We got the four-bed suite, and were very pleased. Clean and good service. Great location within walking distance of many attractions, and a very short drive from historical sites. My wife and I stayed with two teens, and had plenty of room. Very old, but certainly part of the charm (and we're usually into "charm"). We would definitely go back.... More

My wife and I spent one night here. We rolled into town around 1:00 pm and stopped just to see what time we could check in. The clerk checked and since the room was ready, they let us check in immediately. The hotel is located within walking distance of the Nauvoo Temple. It was nice to walk there, take photos,... More

My wife and I stayed there on a winter getaway weekend. Place was immaculate, lots of litle extras for creature comfort. Had a queen room in the South Wing. Bathroom was roomy, bed was comfortable. Had a great time. Lots of great walking history in Nauvoo.
