We have been here three times in the past few years. We are always pleased with our stay. Our favorite room is the Smith suite which we have had the pleasure of booking twice. It has an unbeatable view from the balcony. The room has more space than we wopuld ever need but its still warm and inviting. We LOVE... More

This is a beautiful hotel with unforgettable views of the Nauvoo Temple. Our room was large and spacious. It was almost like a small apartment. There is a new section of the hotel with an elevator, the historic section of the hotel was where we stayed and it was so nice, but there is no elevator in that area. This... More

Our family had some unique needs that the hotel management went out of their way to accommodate prior to our recent visit. Our needs were personally heard and honored by the management, and upon our arrival we found our room to be the restful oasis we had requested! That kind of personalized service is rare. We will definitely stay again... More

Gorgeous old hotel. Great price for a family suite that sleeps up to 6 (two queen beds and a queen sized couch pull out bed). Good size bathroom. Great location, easy walking distance to the temple just a few doors down.

Very close to the temple and a grocery store down the street. Great price for a large family. We stayed in one of the larger suites with two queen beds and a king. Just realize it's on the third floor and a LOT of stairs (no elevator). No refrigerator or microwave in the room. That being said, it is an... More

We picked the Woodruff Hotel for location and the fact that we could get a two bedroom suite. Coming from a hotel background I felt that meant two seperate bedrooms (with a door in between at the least.) The description even said it had a sitting area. This was not that case. It was two large rooms with 3 beds.... More

If you are spending the night in Nauvoo, the Woodruff Hotel is a must! It is the neatest place we have ever stayed just in its historical value alone. The decor is the perfect mix of modern and traditional and the artwork throughout is stunning. Our room was overlooking the main street with a view of the temple but I... More

My wife and I made this trip to Nauvoo to see the church history sites. The Woodruff Hotel and Mercantile is right across the street from the Temple. The room was more of a two bedroom apartment, absolutely wonderful. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The mercantile store was fascinating, we could have wandered around in there for hours.... More

My wife and I made a trip to Nauvoo for our 25th anniversary. It was a long journey from our home in Canada, however we were met with absolute comfort. We stayed in a very nice room that was comfortable and clean, overlooking the Temple. My wife and I were very pleased by the large towels, that most hotels are... More

My family's trip to Nauvoo was a meaningful memory for everyone. We pulled into town late at night and were a bit confused on how we were to get our keys, being that this hotel is a boutique hotel. We walked into the Zions Mercantile building on the corner and on the front door inside the foyer was a mailbox... More
