“Smelled like Wet Dog, wireless was terrible”

Its one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The room has a smell that assults you as soon as you enter. It smells like wet dog and strong cleaner. They explained it away as their brand of cleaner. The high speed wireless is only good in the lobby. Its worse than dail-up in the rooms. If you... more

I decided to try this Exel Inn after reading some positive reviews on several internet sites. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. I settled in at about 3:45PM, worked on some emails, and then decided to take a nap prior to a dinner engagement. When I laid on the bed I discovered that it was extremely firm.... more

We stayed at this property, after comparing prices with other chains in the area - 1 bed, smoking, in-room coffee maker, iron/ironing board, microfrige ($3.75/day extra) Great Value for $52.99- VERY CLEAN - EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE - I plan to stay at Excel Inn again over the Labor Day weekend. more
