Okay, start with the positive. The bed was comfortable. The wi-fi worked. The room was clean. However. The room was very tiny; there was barely enough room for the bed and the desk. There's no in-room coffee. There's no in-room fridge. There's no channel guide for the television. Half the channels on the television were unavailable due to "scrambled or weak signal." The TV remote barely worked. There was one thing the room did have: a guy sitting in his truck outside my room blasting music until four in the morning. Other guests also congregated outside, having loud conversations until that hour. Oh, and all guests must pay a $50 damage deposit upon check-in. What's with that?

The guest services and housekeeping was terrific . I was surprised to learn that my dog was except as well. The staff gave great advice and tips about places to shop and eat. I would definitely recommend this hotel location and I will definitely stay again at this location.

We have stayed here before and it has improved. Our reason to choose this one was their pet free offer. Room was clean. Check in was a hassle. It was a pre-paid reservation through their corporate website my me. My husband went in to register and they would not allow him...even with the copy of the reservation. I did go in and the lady at the desk said that since I did not book through THEM, I had to pay a $50.00 fee plus 2.50 for a safe I told her I would not be using. Upon check out the attendant would not give us a receipt nor would she refund our $52.50. Said that would be sent my the "third party". We did get it back.

Rudest staff I have encountered. First I requested a ground floor explaining I was handicapped and had my dog with me. I was told no ground floor available, but there was an elevator...outside the lobby, halfway down, in the rain. Or I could take the stairs, it was only a few steps. Next I was asked for a deposit. We questioned this saying the room was paid and a credit card was on file. The second person came out and said this was normal practice for most places. We explained we had been traveling for 2 weeks, across several states and stayed in numerous motels, no one charged a deposit. She again told us it was normal for most places. We were told the deposit would be refunded and asked for this in writing. I was given a piece of paper to sign. I looked it over and asked where on the paper it said we got the deposit back, she pointed to a $2 safe fee. There was now a third person watching from around a wall. Over and over we asked to show where it said our deposit would be refunded. She kept saying she was showing us and pointed to the safe fee. Now the third person came out and they canceled our reservation, saying we would need to take up the matter of a refund with Booking. Rude staff, shady practices.

You mentioned that you requested a ground floor but was told that there was none, you were ask to pay a deposit fee and the other concerns you listed. First floor room are subjected to availability and is not guaranteed. In regard to the deposit, a $50 refundable credit card deposit is required at check-in for all guests. The customer service here was amazing from check in to checking out. A warm and friendly welcome. Excellent guest services and housekeeping. I ran out of towels because I spilled my tea on the floor. They had no problem with bringing me more and it was pouring outside.

Excellent customer service with excellent location for the area. This hotel was extremely clean and comfortable. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff by the name of Lala and Adam. They both made are trip more interesting as well as very eventful with their advice and tips about the city, supermarkets, shops, restaurants, and bars that were in the area. I would definitely recommend this hotel location to everyone!!! It is a true example of amazing hospitality. Thank you again Lala and Adam for going over and beyond! Lala and Adam are truly an asset to the company!!!

The hotel is near very busy highway, so rooms are noisy. They are open to the outside with shared balcony, so there were people smoking, drinking and partying outside my room. Toilet was running all night. The room and the lobby smelled like dirt and sweat covered with chemical room freshener. But the most annoying was the billing practice. They would hold me to a reservation which I made through Expedia when I wanted to cancel quoting that I made it through the third party and they couldn’t cancel it, but didn’t honor the price I booked the room at. It was higher and when I showed the receipt, they said that the room rates change daily and they don’t know the Expedia policies and where they got the rates from, but it is higher now, so I have to pay because either way I’m bound to the reservation. I felt like a hostage. It was an awful experience. I checked out the next morning and will contest the charge with the credit card. Do NOT recommend this hotel. This is the first negative review I’ve ever written. It takes a lot to push my buttons.

At check-in, your credit card is charged (not a preauthorization) for the entire stay, plus a $50 security deposit. I found this unusual, for typically when a credit card is used, your card is kept on file for any incidentals or damages. The property is a traditional Red Roof Inn with exterior doors, however the room interiors appear to be recently remodeled and/or well maintained. At checkout, the total on my bill was higher than I was quoted when I booked the reservation online (on the Red Roof Inn website), when I questioned the front desk agent, I was told that it was for the in-room safe insurance, which they did offer to take off, but the clerk was rude about it (telling me I did not ask that it be removed.) The property is close to I-88, however getting in and out of the property can be difficult if you have to cross traffic.

First off we got there around 4:30 check-in was at 4 . I had requested a handicap accessible room when I reserved and on check-in they had none. They gave us a room on the 2nd floor. We opened the door to the room and there were dirty socks on the floor, soda bottles all over the room, junk all over the floor and the room smelled awful. Topped off by numerous dogs. We got a refund and moved on. If I could give it 0 stars I would.
