We were on our way home from Florida had been driving for 12 hours. We were tired and decided to stop and sleep. We hot our room paid $90.00 plus a $50.00 deposit. We went to our room was told that they are under construction. The carpets were filthy the place stunk. Got into our room . So tired that... More

By first looks at the front desk the hotel looks fine but after you get your assigned room and venture past the desk look out!! The carpets down the hallway look like they haven't been vacuumed or cleaned in years. The one and only elevator is so old I was scared to death to get in it. Thankfully it worked... More

Carpets were filthy. Toilet wasn't anchored, chips out of sink, chairs you couldn't sit on as they were filthy dirty and felt as though they were going to fall apart when you sat on them. Furniture old and tired. Mattress was as hard as a rock. This was also the most expensive hotel we stayed at!!!

Not good not bad. Rooms were clean but nothing fancy. Hotel wasnt incredibly cheap it served our need for a decent stay just of the interstate. We didnt use the pool so cannot comment on that. One annoying thing that somebody from the stay seemed to be using the public computer for personal use.

the only thing going for this place is that it one of the first hotels/motels off the interstate. Pass it by and find someplace else to stay. We stayed October 30, 2014 for one night while traveling. The room we had was dirty and rundown. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls, there was a pile of dirt in the... More

The Quality Inn is the first hotel you'll come to on the frontage road of that exit. It's likely the most economical too. They offered me a late checkout since I checked in in the wee hours of morning. The room did smell a bit smoky, but was clean. I'll be back. They have truck parking in back.

I asked for a non-smoking room and was given one on the second floor. However, apparently the smoking rooms are intermixed with the non-smoking ones as there as a smell of cigarette smoke even in my room. The smell was not terrible but enough to be noticeable and annoying to some one like myself that is sensitive to cigarette smoke.... More

We stayed here on Monday, July 14, 2014. Had a non smoking room with king for around $90 including taxes. Not a good experience. The hotel seems to cater to smokers with a few non smoking rooms. There is a strong tobacco smoke odor in the hallway. The toilet handle was broken and had to take off lid and manually... More

My main complaint aside from a relatively higher price of this Quality Inn is the stale smoky odor in this hotel, especially in the hallway near the back door. So one's first impression is having to run the smoke gauntlet as you enter. Not a good impression. We were given a non-smoking room, but a strong smoky odor hit us... More

By far this is the worst hotel in Mount Vernon and possibly one of the worst hotels that I have every stayed in. The pictures on the internet look nice; however, they are not representative of the hotel. The place is run down and in need of a major renovation. We booked the room with the three queen beds for...
