We made reservations with the hotel direct, were told at the time we were "lucky" to be getting the last room available. After talking to several others in our group, who were traveling to the same destination and hearing they had been told the same thing by the reservationist they spoke to, we decided to arrive at the hotel early.... more

Passing through Morris we notice a brand new Holiday inn Express. The staff was great and the place was super clean. Breakfast was good too. Lots of hot items and it was included in my room rate. I would for sure stay there again. It's nice to have a place in morris that's new and mostly clean! more

We chose this hotel based on the previous reviews for a one night stopover en route from Chicago to Moline. We were not disappointed in any way and would agree with the previous reviewers completely. This hotel was the 7th we went to after every other hotel being sold out of rooms on a Saturday night on I-80 in the Chicago area. They just opened this place and it was sorely needed in Morris. It is right next to the old full service Holiday Inn. The full service Holiday Inn is no longer a HI and will become a Quality Inn after they renovate it. They really should just bulldoze the dump. This place is really nice. Flat screen HD TV's.
