Very clean and well maintained. Staff went above and beyond duty to make sure we were cared for. Pool and hot tub were pleasant. Only real exception was thin walls or maybe that was a dance troup in room above. Actually if folks would do more parenting it would have been perfect. More

The hotel is next door to Harrah's which is nice for entertainment and meal options. It's nestled between a residential area and the river so there aren't any options within walking distance. More

Baymont Inn is about 3 miles off of the main highway passing thru Metropolis. We booked in while on the road driving from Florida back to Wisconsin. Very nice hotel to stay in the southern Illinois river town. Casino is within walking distance. Located in the older, quieter part of this town, no Interstate noise to hear.
