Short version: This is the worst hotel on the planet. Long version: I stayed here during a recent trip to Chicago for Lollapalooza. Just a humble hipster looking for a cheap room. It was a very poor decision. When my friend and I first arrived, an hour or two past the earliest check-in time of 3pm, they did not have... More

In any circumstances do not stay in this motel! Rooms are horrific: cockroaches, rooms stank, filthy, old bagels for breakfast, TV doesn’t work properly. On top of that we were charged twice for staying one night there. It’s hard to find motel details online, when we called central reservations they could not find them eider. More

I would like to take this opportunity to let the public know that as of November 2010 a new owner as well as Management team has taken over this property. We have converted our property into a Travelodge of O'Hare, no longer a Days Inn. I have read the reviews below that have happened over time. I know that they... More

This was a great place not too far from the O'hare International airport. The room rate was cost effective and the service at the desk was fantastic. It is easy to get to from O'hare and cost $25 by Taxi but I found out later they can pick you up. They also drop you back to the airport for free.... More

Upon checking in, the staff (seemed to be teenager)at the front desk could barely speak English. It took at least five tries to break the language barrier. There were computers and wires all over the front desk area (1st red flag). After checking in and entering the rooms (my family had 3 rooms) we were quite disappointed. The rooms were... More

Important maintenance issues were addressed over the winter and the property has been improved.Additional training was operated for the front desk staff.32 security camera system was updated and locks can be open by guests key cards only. We consider this property to be one of the safest in the O'Hare Airport area also because we pay detailed attention on who's... More

The hotel advertised services, the availability of which was a determinant in my decision to stay there. The hotel did not deliver said services. I was at the hotel because I was doing business in the area. Pursuant to that, I needed an internet connection. The hotel advertised that it provided said connection (the Days Inn Melrose Park website verifies... More

This has to be a viable candidate for the worst hotel in the US. Arrived here after midnight in a terrible storm after getting stuck at O'Hare with thousands of others because of weather. Consequently, no hotel rooms around and this was one of the few hotels with space. I soon found out why they still had vacancies. Dirty bed... More

I can not believe that Days Inn doesn't condem the place to protect their name. Rooms looked to be in the condition of an abandoned home, nothing was safe and when I told the front desk that there were problems, she asked if I would like to check out. The breakfast did include waffles....the frozen kind out of a box... More

I was put in this hotel by American Airlines at 11:00 at night. I have never been so scared in my life. The place had a stinch unlike any other and needs to be torn down. They also charged me an additional $10 to have a non-smoking room and called it an upgrade fee. The airport chair would have been... More

This hotel is horrible!! We actually only booked it because the good rates we got for the hotel we were in, didn't apply for that day, and we needed a hotel close to the airport for our last day in Chicago. It started bad, checking in was an awful experience. The man who I spoke to, was rude, unpolite and... More
