We had driven in our car for about 12 hours when we decided to stop. We ended up in Marion, IL and after walking into 2 other hotels that were priced a bit higher than we wanted to spend, we tried the Days Inn. The room was very reasonably priced, the check-in was painless, and the staff was very welcoming.... more
