A quiet, relaxing experience. Stayed with our children-8 and 12. We had a cabin with a queen and a murphy bed in the living room. Very nice. Lots of room. The area is beautiful, lots and lots of nature. The lodge has a restaurant where the food was excellent. more

We've stayed here a few times, and find it preferable to any other accomodations near Carbondale (where my daughter is attending college). At this point, it seems that the management needs to spend some money on improvements. New outdoor furniture in the cabin area, some rock or mulch in the large muddy areas surrounding thje cabins.
