The staff is very friendly and the service is wonderful. The rooms are comfortable and the beds are great. It is a good location, close to the city, but still affording a quiet stay. Great hotel. more

The hotel was excellent. The room and anmenities were outstanding. The restaurant staff were top notch. Even though our party exceeded the time it would take for a "normal" meal the staff was very gracious and did not get pushy for us to leave. The variety of food for the buffet was unreal. I stayed here with my husband when we came up to Chicago for a wedding. The hotel service was excellent. We stayed and had the brunch Allgauer's and I've never seen such a wide variety of cold salads, breakfast foods, kids food and desserts. The hot food that they serve is delicious and I would highly recommend it. more

Stayed here for a wedding located within the hotel. Room was clean, well appointed, and spacious. Quick and accurate check-in. Only one minor complaint--you need your room key to get ice, which neither I or my fellow gentleman across the hall knew until we had traipsed down the long hallway clutching our heavy glass ice buckets--but not our room keys.... more

Every year we go to Chicago for a convention and by far this was the best hotel. Large, nicely decorated rooms with comfortable beds. But by far the best part of the stay was the excellent staff. more

Booked a room as part of a wedding block. The place was immaculate. Real cream for the coffee and delicious coffee, at that. I work in Naperville part time, but live and work the rest of the time in SE Wisconsin. The Hitlon is my home away from home when I work in the Illinois office. The hotel meets my needs - it is clean, with recently remodeled guest rooms. The beds are wonderful with down matress toppers, comforters and many down pillows.... more
