Bed bug Hell Hole! I stopped near midnight after a long day of driving, paid for a room and went upstairs. The place was FILTHY! ( I am a road warrior, so I don't sweat the small stuff, but this was terrible!) I pulled back the sheets and there were bed bugs crawling around in my bed! UNBELIEVABLE! I went... more

My family and I spent a week in this hotel. We changed rooms 3 times; the first time, there was no television, no iron, no microwave or fridge; the second time, the remote to the television didnt work and the air conditioning/ heat didnt work; Finally we gave up and settled for the last room which appeared better, but little... more

This is the absolute most disgusting hotel we ever stayed in. First the staff tried to get an extra $20 dollars since it was friday. All other hotels were booked. (every-one probably stopped here first ) the bathroom was filthy c/w old towels still in shower. we slept on top of the sheets just to get a few hours sleep... more

The experience was very much displeasing. The staff was VERY RUDE, and the service was shameful and unwelcoming. The condition of the rooms were horrible. There were no towels, dirty bathrooms, elevators turned off causing undo inconvience to guest, rooms not properly kept, constant problems with the key cards. Most horrible stay. more

I've been to Chicago to attented a conference. I stayed at this hotel october. 4th until 9th and enjoyed it. In the night it was a little bit noisy, it was a mixture of the highway and noises by industry. If you are a sound sleeper - it's absolutely no problem. My king bed was very comfortable. The room /... more

I would give this hotel a zero if possible. This hotel was terrible. I stopped in at about midnight as I needed to stop driving for the night. Upon entering my room, I noticed a very, very dirty carpet, bed, drapes, etc. The bathroom actually had old cups and only one dirty towel in it. The room had obviously not... more

Booked this hotel so I didn't have to drive back and forth for my sons baseball tournament. Started really bad. Our air in the room didn't work at all and remember this is Illinois in June. Complained 1 time and all the front desk told me give me a couple of minutes. Waited for maybe an hour and still no... more

We arrived at this hotel after A 12:00 AM flight and was ready to relax in at our hotel that we booked for 4 days. Unfortunatley, that was not the case when we arrived because of the many problems. We arrived at the hotel at 1:00 AM in the morning and recieved our key for the room, once we went... more

We arrived at the Lansing Howard Johnson Inn about 8:00 PM on March 11, 2008, after making reservations online. The desk clerk said there was no reservation for us, but she had a room available. Once in room 319, we read the telephone directions that we could call long distance by dialing 8-1-Area Code-Number or make local calls by dialing... more
