The place touts a bar on premises. After one look inside, I lost my desire for a beverage. Hardly anything worked in our room. The TV was ancient. The bed was uncomfortable, and the next morning we had to get a key to shower in another room as the shower wasn't working. As for value, the cost was exactly what... More

Despite being a bit long in the tooth, this motel is kept up very well. The decor is definitely dated, but doesn't show any adverse wear. The motel has easy access from I-57, although there are no nearby dining facilities.

I use to work here and I would never recommend this place. the rooms are not worth the cost, tvs are all older models, the owners have illegals stay there in the back rooms on the bottom floor so they can have 10 people stay in one room. they don't really clean the place that much. they keep all the... My experience at this hotel was a disaster! I recently worked at the Kankakee County Fair. I booked this hotel on Tuesday, July 28 because it's a five minute drive from the fairgrounds. I was called by Economy Inn Friday morning and asked to give my credit card number to hold the room. I gave them the credit card number... More

I have resided at many different hotels across the United States and I have found this stay to be very nice and peaceful. The staff are the most helpful, efficient and courteous. They enhanced my hotel experience. There is free coffee. This hotel is very affordable and has a great low rate. In addition, there is a bar where you... More

I actually called for the greyhound to get my sister out of a bad situation. This hotel was connected with the greyhound. They were so friendly and helpful. I quickly learned how to get my sister's ticket online and reserved her a room over the phone. She was checked in with her greyhound ticket within the hour. They my have... More

Very simple - almost retro. No amenities like we are used to nowadays (i.e. Microwave, WiFi, fridge, etc) just bed, bath, cable TV and phone. But for $46 a night this is fine for me. But if you are a Holiday Inn or the Extended Stay type, stay away. You will snivel.

Customer service ( please refer to a dictionary ) because you will find nothing here that remotely appears like it here. Needs serious cleaning. Remodeling would be a highly recommended. Trash dumped out on sidewalk. Common restroom smells as if someone urinated on the floors then slept in it. Truly wished to have chosen a different location. A lesson well... More

Just about everything I look for in a place to stay. Comfortable, clean, and a great low price. I stay at this place when I railfan around the Kankakee area. The rooms are big and always have super-cold A/C when you want to crank it up after a hot day. The front-desk people are always friendly (well..expcept for maybe the... More
