April 6 2009 jeh bensenville, ill We've been enjoying casinos all over the US for many years - and find that Harrahs has the best players club & consistant comps. But even in the Harrahs "family" of casinos Joliet stands out as having the friendliest, most attentive staff and best service. Hotel checkin always quick - rooms always clean (but don't... more

We returned to Harrah's after a not so good trip in August. This time every employee we encountered greeted us and either inquired if there was anything they could do for us or wished us luck in the casino. The room furniture is a bit tired, but the bed was nice as were the linens. The bathrooms are large and... more

We stayed at Harrah's after attending a nearby wedding. Our room was very nice, clean comfortable beds, everything seemed perfect except for two problems that kept us awake all night. 1. The temperature in the room was too hot and adjusting the thermostat had no effect at all. It seems that the hotel is in heat-only mode and the AC... more

Harrah's Joliet is a well-kept property with nice, large rooms and a helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly front-desk staff. As a frequent Harrah's customer, I have stayed at a variety of different properties throughout the country. Given previous experiences at Harrah's properties located outside of Vegas, Reno, and Atlantic City...Joliet was a nice surprise. The hotel property is relatively new and... more

Who does the location searches for Harrahs ? Joliet is a ghost town except for this hotel/casino. The staff was exceptionally nice and the hotel room was also very nice. As far as the casino, I was extremely disappointed. It is small, dark and they seem to have many old slot machines. Don't go on a Sunday afternoon, the senior... more

I had to stay at Harrah's for a wedding...it was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Apparently, there were to be welcome bags in the room when we arrived. While I was dressing in the bathroom and my friend was on the phone, someone POUNDED on the door...didn't even wait a second before he opened the... more

The hotel was good all around. The room was quite large, with a small fridge for your use. The shower was great, water pressure, heat, and size. The bed was comfortable and the floor we were on was quiet. The only bad thing: the elevators took forever, then one broke and they were down to one. When we were going... more

We self-parked in the free garage across the street and was able to walk over to the hotel in a covered walkway above the road. When entering the hotel lobby, it looked very nice. Our first room assignment was 302, on the north side of the building. We walked into the room and it was fairly nice. All the rooms... more
