I've been staying regularly at Hyatt Place hotels. The concept is comfortable and useful for the traveling executive. This hotel was less convenient than other locations in the Chicago area. I've had however continual problems with Hyatt's internet provider (known as Guest Tek) where their aggressive management of the internet access has meant problems or complete blocks on company VPN... more

Our family of 5 (3 teens) fit comfortably in the room. Location was quiet. Breakfast was toast/bagel, fruit, juice, cereal and starbucks coffee. Other hot breakfast items available for extra. Walls were somewhat thin - crying baby next door. Reserved on hotels.com for <$80 more

Stayed here in June for a wedding. The room was large with comfy sofa and bed. The paper was at the door every morning. Nice folks at the front desk and plenty of tables and chairs to sit at in the front lobby. Loved the continental breakfasts....make your own waffles, bagels, fruit, etc. There's a Mexican taco place across the... more

Returned this past Friday from four nights at the Hyatt Place, Itasca, Il. LOVED this hotel. It looks brand new inside & out. Check in was a breeze, and fast. Gallery host gave me a tour of the first floor and a list of local restaurants. Hotel is very clean and smells nice. My room was just as nice. Plenty... more

I stayed here for training at my new company, which was within walking distance from this hotel. The company booked the reservation due to the location. This is a very nice hotel! Huge rooms and a beautiful lobby (not one of those places that spends all of the money on the lobby and then has cruddy rooms). The cable service... more

Great place, check in was a breeze, room was clean, loved the tv, counter space for bathrrom, and the corner sleeper/sofa. Parking was free and that was great, had a nice pool but needs a whirl pool, exercise room had top notch equipment and was open 24hrs. Could go down and get something to eat 24 hrs and use your... more

Stayed at the hotel on Friday. Excellent check in services, beautiful comfy lobby (cozy like a living room with TV, snack bar, coffee, small bar, self service menu ordering, self check in and check out kiosks). Fitness center equipment has TV's with headphones available, good recent equipment but the weight machines are a bit dated. Indoor Pool is spacious enough.... more

The wait has been long but the result worth it. I have been staying at this location off and on for the last 3 years. It started as a fine AmeriSuites and is now an Outstanding Hyatt Place. Mid level to high class! This place is now a funky very hip location. A outstanding lobby. Interesting chic check in. The... more
