First off, Hyatt-Regency Hotels are, in my opinion - top of the line. But this particular Hyatt Place (their "budget" hotel) is far and away nicer than any Hyatt-Regency I have stayed at. It has a LARGE flat screen TV - all rooms are Suites - spacious - indoor pool - very fancy new everything in the rooms, lobby, public... more

I have been staying at the Hyatt Place Hoffman Estates for about a year - it is conveniently located near the new Abouretum shopping center, which boasts great restaurants and shopping. They have a free shuttle to bring you there as well! I travel to Hoffman Estates once or twice a month on business and have stayed at various other... more

Check-in was fast and friendly. Front desk extremely helpfu with directions to numerous locations in the area. Lobby very nice. Room was clean, spacious, huge HD flat screen TV, living room area, with fridge, coffee maker. Nice spotless bathroom. This is not a hotel that one would stay at if visiting downtown Chicago, but if one has business or a... more

The Hyatt Place in Hoffman is a nice, very reasonably priced hotel. The rooms are nicer than many hotels I have stayed at. Nice that it has a 42" TV and free WIFI too. Shower was small, but it did not bother me at all. Also, I could hear the people in the hall. more

Stayed here for 4 days during a work trip this month. I have nothing but positive things to say about this hotel. The value was great, room was spacious and comfortable, exercise room was just what I was needing, and the staff was very accomodating, and I appreciated the free Wi-fi.. Only improvements I would suggest are better bed pillows... more

My wife and I recently traveled to Chicago with the rest of a wedding party and stayed at the Hyatt for three nights. Our stay was quite nice, contrary to some of the reviews here. When we arrived, check-in was prompt and they even had self check-in terminals you could use if the counter was too busy (though we didn't... more

I made our reservation by phone. When I arrived, they had no reservation for me. Luckily they had a available room, which they gave us only a $2 discount for loosing our reservation. I had a Hyatt Gift Certificate, which they neglected to add to our bill, but after much discussion they recalled the fact that I given them the... more

Wasn't that impressed with the new renovation. The rooms looked nice, but the bathrooms didn't impress me at all. They seemed like they hadn't changed much. The staff wasn't very helpful or friendly, but they did point in the direction of a sitdown restaurant in the area. It just felt like I was bothering them. I think I'll try one... more

This chain is undoubtedly the best affordable travelers hotel in the US. Neat, clean, modern, trendy, wonderful in every respect from the lobby, the automated checkin the oriental flair to the room decor to the breakfast buffet and easy-order special breakfasts. Very European. more

Spent a Thursday night at the hotel in October with my wife and 2 kids. The 42 inch plasma TV is great for the kids but the channel offerings were lacking - $3.00 to watch a half-hour kids program made it seem the hotel was nickling and diming us. The continental breakfast was far too basic with everything else having... more
