We camp at SLR for 3 days Fri. Sat. and Sun. it was a great time. I do not know why people complaint about the place being expensive, it is not. Once you pay for your site all of the amenities are included, all we had to do is leave my wife's D.L. at the club house and our two... More

Too much money for what you get. Campsites are on top of each other; ours had about 6 feet of grass between us and the sites on either side of us. Most campfire rings were located so that they either ended up under your awning or were way too close to your neighbor’s slide out. Some of the campsites had... More

My family stayed here for a Sunday-Friday camping vacation. There were 11 of us. We were put in "J" section and I'm glad we were with family, because it was cramped! Each pond except the main big pond was completely covered in green algae. The pool was the best attraction. The first day we got there, the woman's shower house... More

If you don't care about fishing or money, it was nice. The pool was very nice. I didn't care for the air conditioned pool dressing room. Pretty cold after getting out of the pool. The lake was so mossy, there was no where for my 4 year old to fish like he dearly wanted to. Expensive. Mini golf free -... More

My husband and I spent this past weekend at Sunset Lakes. It's a large camground with alot of activities. The food at the plaza was very good. We stayed in a grassy section away from the area which seemed a bit congested near the playground, pool and plaza. The staff was nice. Ed and Penny were very friendly and helpful... More

We camped here over 4th of July weekend and the place was packed, but it did not feel like it! There is so much to do and the campsites are spread out over a large area. My kids loved the paddleboats on the pond and the swimming pool. We also spent a lot of time playing on the swing-set and... More

We have stayed here the last 3 Labor Day Weekends. The staff is very friendly. The price is on the higher side of what we like to pay; however you get what you pay for. The pool and restrooms and shower houses have always been in great shape. We like to stay out by the lake and usually have a... More

This is a great place to take your camper. We were in a lot that was shaded. The employees were friendly and helpful. The campgrounds were clean. They have a large pool that my kids enjoyed. We swam, canoed, paddle boated, and played tennis. My kids also enjoyed the arcade, volleyball and basketball courts. On Friday nights they alternate either... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in our 36 ft. motorhome. The place is BEAUTIFUL! The sites were clean and were shaded by wonderful trees! There is LOTS to do! Swim, fish, paddleboats, tennis, mini golf and MORE! ALL are included! I would HIGHLY recommend!

Not only were the office people EXTREMELY rude, (and they are the owners!!) the entire establishment was dirty, and gross. Several times there wasn't any TP in the restrooms..... garbage overflowing and stinking, the cabins are falling apart, they smelled and it was very dirty. The linens smelled. The lifeguards are not even CERTIFIED, and barely keep their eyes on the... More
