Do NOT stay in this hotel unless you see the room first! There was vomit and other bodily fluids on the floor next to the toilet, it hadn't been cleaned in forever, the room was filthy, stinky and we had to launder everything when we got home, including the bag. We went home with a horrible stench on our clothes... More

We were not provided service until we had been there for over 10 minutes, service was terrible, and our check was wrong (in their favor). No one gave us their names, but a customer called the bartender "Ethan". No apologies were given or even an acknowledgment that they had done anything wrong.

I would have liked to have stayed here more than one night, but the drunken arguments and dusty/smoky carpets did not make for a good nights sleep. The biggest problem is that it is not staffed overnight. It would make for a nice B&B if they re-opened the bar for breakfast. The sidewalk's ice was a hazard, so some additional... More

I was pleasantly surprised at this old facility on the courthouse square in Hillsboro and really happy that I stayed here and not at the chain hotels along the interstate 7 miles away. It's like staying in a bed and breakfast in the sense that it's an old building with attractive rooms, comfortable beds, flowery wallpaper, and old wooden doors... More
