Just left the hotel tonight. We were there less than three hours. Agree with other reviews stating that this is a frat boy party and puke hotel, definitely nothing more. 1. Our suite stunk. It didn't smell bad, it stunk. 2. Empty shampoo bottles left lying on the floor. 3. The outer door lock for building #2 is broken. 4.... more

my family and i stayed here for an overnight trip to Six Flags, and when we first walked in, the place looked nice enough for the price. We checked in and went to Six Flags, and spent the whole day there. We came back tired and just wanted to go to bed. The walls are so thin that you can... more

I do not recommend staying there...the room had a hole in the wall and the fridge was full of beer and old orange juice from the people before us and the shower had shampoo or soap mildew in it. Discusting! The younger men that were at the desk didnt seem too motivated...asked how the room was and asked for trash... more

The room was ok I guess, but when it comes to the so called "Continental Breakfast" all we got was toast and milk. The orange and apple juice was spoiled tasting. We couldnt even spread the butter on the toast because the butter was frozen. I DON'T recommend staying here if you are counting on a decent breakfast as far... more

Has Adventure Inn become an Econo Lodge? I keep hearing this from friends but have yet to check it out myself. If so, I've never seen an Econo Lodge with themed rooms and hot tubs! Hubby and I love Adventure Inn and even recently got the Zodiac Room for two friends to stay in tonight after their wedding! It's a... more

My husband and I had to come to Gurney IL to see our daughter graduate from Naval Basic training at Great Lakes. We loved the fact that it was 10 minutes from the base and very easy to get back to. We had someone call the morning of our arrival and book us a room. We had no problems checking... more

Look folks, you're not going to get a 4-star hotel for a 1-star price. This hotel is very basic. This is NOT a hotel you go to for a romantic get away or put your out-of-town inlaws in (unless you really don't like them). Our room was clean but had a definite odor to it. The shower was clean, the... more

This place goes by three names. Hollywood Inn, Econo and Adventure Inn. ??? It is situated on a very busy intersection in a run down part of town. It is surrounded by thrift shops and not in walking distance to any restaurants. It is more of a frat boy/ prostitute/ party & puke motel. Not at all suitable for familys.... more
