My wife and I checked in rather late, but the woman who checked us in was helpful without being pushy, and answered all of our questions. The facility was very clean and secure. There is a Dunkin Donuts/31 Flavors across teh street, as well as other dining options. It is not too far from I-294. more

I stayed at the Courtyard for two nights in late May. I had meetings in Chicago as well as Waukegan and an early flight out of O'Hare airport. After reading the reviews here, I opted for this Courtyard vs. the one closest to the airport. The way it looks on the map, it seems that it would be closer to... more

This courtyard is clean, internet connection is consistent and stable, breakfast is expensive, but good. I cannot think of anything negative to say, but nothing stands out as extraordinary either. This is a typical courtyard with a highly attentive staff, generous rooms, comfortable beds, etc. more

I love Marriott hotels and stayed at this Courtyard that was newly renovated and found my experience to be the best ever. The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean. I enjoyed the indoor pool and the warm cookies at check in. I will be back....great job to the staff! more

I travel frequently to the Northbrook area. I have always avoided this Courtyard because of the not so good things I have heard. Since it was being renovated, I decided to give it a try (last week). It is the older style Courtyard (multiple wings configured around the courtyard). It has been entirely renovated with the exception of 1 wing... more

I had a theft of money in my room. Theyre not accomodating in trying to help you feel better,or even comp you to make up for it. Your problem is your problem is the way that they look at it. I am never staying at a Marriott again. more

This hotel is currently under renovation. Currently, it is not up to typical Marriott Courtyard standards. Room looked old and dingy. Bedding and towels are in definite need of replacement. We didn't have breakfast. The lobby was under construction so I'm not even sure if they were serving. There are several restaurants near the hotel. more

Rate was $71.00. We had a late arrival. The desk clerk told us to use the far back side door to enter. When we got their it was broke (the doors had old faded signs that said the doors were broke). Walking all the way back to the front lobby doesn't get it at 2:00 AM with your luggage. The... more

I have to agree with many of the other posters' reviews with respect to this hotel needing serious updates. I booked my room because it's very close to where I'll be working this week. And because I assumed it would have the nice pillow top beds and luxury linens like most other Marriotts (even the lower end chains). Nope! When... more
