Younger kids running around yelling and a screaming all hours of the night with no supervision at all. The white haired lady in the store was extremely rude, and sarcastic while the other lady was oblivious to her. The water smells, the playground is nothing but a Place for kids to get splinters. There is no security in the park at... More

I have been camping at Holiday Acres for six years. I have never experienced any of the problems listed below. -The pool is not 'dirty.' It's an outdoor pool, how do you not expect a few bugs or such to fall in it. Although the pool was broken, it's not like it was there fault. the pipes cracked in the... More

After reading reviews about this place and against better judgment, we booked a weekend here. Here's what we found: The pool was empty and no fence around it to prevent someone from falling in. The bathrooms and showers were completely disgusting and dirty. The staff was rude and combative when asked about the pool and children's activities, which there are... More

We are seasonal campers for the past six years and really enjoy this place. The seasonal rates are very reasonable. They have great activities for kids. The park is very clean and well kept. They also have an onsite restaurant and bar.

We have stayed at Holiday Acres Resort several times over the last couple of years. Each time has been great. We have a motor home and have had no problems with the sites or the customer service. The prices there are lower than at other resorts. We love that they have a small lounge there and food available if we... More

We hadn't been camping for many years and thought it would be fun to go somewhere "close" to home. We stayed Friday thru Sunday. Our sight wasn't bad. $30 a night for site, water and electric. Bathrooms were "ok". I do have to say that things looked somewhat "rundown". There was an employee driving around on a cart all weekend... More

Stayed one night. Planned on 2 but left early. Although our site was pretty the rest of the facility was run down and nothing was available. The store was closed, the pool was never open although we were told it would be by 10. I would not have gone swimming anyway. Broken chairs and dirty. The bathrooms needed upkeep. My... More

In response to the above posting: - Your parents stayed for two nights, not one. - The store is not staffed Monday through Wednesday, but we live on grounds and within steps of the store. We are available 24/7 for any reason. Our other staff also live within steps of the store and are available to offer assistance or provide... More

As campers for many, many years, we have never experienced such a terrible place with such poor customer service. For $25 a night for tent site (which we rented two costing us over $100 for a day and half) which advertised a pool, store, restaurant, mini golf, playground, fishing pond, bike rentals, etc., we were willing to pay the price.... In response to the above posting: -The cost of a primitive camp site without electric is $25.00. Please check the website for rates, they are posted. Check the other campgrounds in our area and you will find our rate in line with the rest. - We have a pool, store, mini golf, two playgrounds, bike rental, and restaurant ( Friday... More
