My main reason for writing this review is because we accidentally left a small bag in the room upon leaving and we live over 3 1/2 hours away. My wife and I stayed here over July 4th weekdend. All in all, it was a perfectly nice hotel. Our room was comfortable and clean with a nice bathroom, fireplace and jacuzzi tub. Second time we stayed at this place. Very comfortable room and amenities for the price. Hot tub and pool area clean and roomy. Very good continental breakfast . Samll bar area for evening cocktails. We just got back from a wonderful trip to Galena and the stay at Stoney Creek was wonderful and relaxing. We were greeted in our suite (we also had 2 toddlers) with a nice basket of a 1/2 pound candy, full bottle of wine, candle and champagne glasses (all of which we were able to keep). We just returned from our second stay at this establishment and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is very woodsy and inviting and the rooms themselves are exceptionally clean and well-maintained.
