Secluded, beautiful country road location, close enough to Galena, Chestnut Mt. and Mississippi River to enjoy the out of doors; but if the weather's bad your in luck, the accommodations are supeb. And I haven't gotten to the food yet. I would just say be sure to arrive hungry and expect to enjoy very memorable meals. Can't say enough about... More

We stayed for two nights at Stonewood Cottage. We will be back! The food was amazing. The cottage was comfortable.

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. The food was very upscale and fabulous, both the breakfasts and the dinner we had one night. The grounds were well kept and provided the opportunity to walk around and explore. The one thing I would change is that we stayed in the inn instead of the cottages and I... More

Irish Hollow is a few miles outside Galena and gives you the feel of being away from it all. The cottages are wonderful - much more room than you would have in a hotel or B&B - very nice bathrooms. We went on a night when they were serving dinner and it was delicious - worth the trip just for... More

We love to travel and have stayed at many beautiful locations. Irish Hollow is definitely toward the very top of our list! We have quite refined taste when it comes to decor, food, service & natural setting, and Irish Hollow rang all the bells! The French Maid's cottage was a dream! I literally felt like I was living in a... More

My husband and I stayed at the Irish Hollow for our first wedding anniversary and our stay was absolutely amazing! The food and service was the best we ever have had at a B&B. We decided to do the evening dinner cooked and served by Matt and Chance. The meal was served with extraordinary detail and each ingredient was fresh... More

My wife surprised me with a trip to The Inn at Irish Hollow - what a treat! The breakfast was the best of all B&B's we'd ever been to. Our dinner Saturday night was also included in the price of our room. The presentation was fantastic - true gourmet! A surprise to us was a full bottle of wine included... More

Just came back from the Inn at Irish Hallow celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary. It was more perfect than what we were hoping for. Matt, Tony and Bill were amazing hosts, you can tell they love what they do! The food was out of this world, never have I had such tasty food! We stayed three nights in the Stonewood... More

We stayed at the Olde Orchard cottage which was impeccably and elegantly furnished and decorated. Set in a very pastoral location with lovely views, it's a wonderful escape from the city. Gourmet meals and outstanding service add to the comforts of this truly unique inn.
