We stayed here on July 4th as we were attending the Cubs/Cardinals baseball game and enjoying festivities of the holiday in downtown St. Louis. This was the first time that we have used the light train to the city. I would definitely advise anyone to do the same. No fighting the downtown traffic and the Hampton Inn is just right... more

Two-day stay. Hotel and room were clean, and staff friendly. A little too much noise from adjoining room. Heater/AC in room was not easy to regulate--either too hot or too cold. Although this was not the hotel's fault, Fairview was a wasteland for good food. Every chain restaurant imaginable, but almost nothing by way of good local restaurants. more

The Hampton Inn in Fairview Heights was fairly nice. The breakfast buffet was more than enough for us heading out on a busy day.
