I was looking at Law Schools and met my Parents in Chicago. We stayed at the Inn which made a memorable family vacation/scouting schools trip. I highly recommend this charming place to everyone. It's conveniently located and my parents really want Northwestern to be my school choice so they can come visit me, on a regular basis and stay at... More

If you want the feel of a bed & breakfast in a city & college setting, this converted women's boarding house is a delightful change of pace. Nearly 100 years old, this facility has been completely updated with central air, flat screen TVs, free wifi, private baths, & much more, but it has retained the charm of an inn. With... More

My wife and I fell in love with this hotel. The hotel is small. It's on a quiet side street. It is old, but very nice. Lots of antique furniture. The people who run it are great. Very friendly. The room was small, but comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The one negative was it only had a shower. My wife... More

We came to visit family and met Kathryn at the front desk on check in. She was engaging and helpful, telling us about the hotel and the neighborhood. A friendly start. The hotel was built in 1927 as a residence for proper businesswomen as documented in several newspaper articles in the hallways. And that sense of history is apparent in... More

We stayed here the night before a football showcase at Ryan Field. It is only 5 minutes away. We booked a queen with 2 twin beds. What we got was a double and a day bed (which I later found had a trundle bed underneath). How is that 2 twin beds? My lineman son, did not fit on the daybed.... More

In a number of ways (mostly positive, this hotel is a throw back to an earlier time. The hotel is not on a busy street and you wouldn't even know it was there if you didn't see the flags out front. We parked out front on the street to check-in and unload the car. The hotel itself is unique with... More

The hotel is quite nice and charming. I love the European vibe. It's definitely unique. The rooms are huge. There's a library, a parlor, an old-timey cage elevator and more. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Another lovely stay (possibly in the very same room) as we came to Evanston to visit Northwestern again. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms quaint and comfortable, and the breakfast delicious (freshly baked pastries, greek yogurt & STEEL CUT oats!!) Again, somewhat concerning was the fact that the old metal-framed bathroom window seemed not to seal up completely... More

My fiancee and I stayed two nights at this beautiful, affordable hotel and we were delighted with our experience. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We couldn't have asked for more. Clean, classy, elegant all the way. The building has all the ambience it should for one built in 1927 and the recent renovations are lovely. You're missing out... More

We stayed with our family over Christmas and had a delightful time. It was our second stay and so much more enjoyable than the big corporate hotels. The fresh French breakfast would be a reason to return over and over again. We even had a conversation with the creator of the delicious pastries. Loved the Inn!
