We stayed here for one night during our Sri Lanka tour and were blown away by the stunning views of the Ramboda waterfalls. There was a very nice atmosphere in the hotel in general especially at dinner time. Breakfast and dinner were served buffet style with a wide variety of Eastern and Western food. The rooms were small, damp and... More

We took a small pause on our way to Nuwara Eliya to grab some quick lunch and see the Ramboda waterfalls. As we took the elevator down the restaurant we could see the breathtaking view of the falls to our right. We thought to eat first and then go grab our food. The buffet time was over by the time... This hotel has one of the best views from a hotel that I have ever stayed in, shame the hotel isn't anywhere near as pretty. This hotel has many problems, the walls are covered in damp and mildew due to it environment and cheap build. A twin room was a large double bed and a camp bed with a foam... More

My friend and i stopped here on our way to World's end. The food here was really great and probably one of the cheapest, real restaurant we've been eating at. We got a really nice impression by the staff too. The view from the restaurant was unbeatable and we saw some monkeys outside of the restaurant. Would visit again

Before heading to a tea estate and factory, I went to this hotel only for a lunch stop-over and nature sightings. I was told by my guide/driver that this hotel has the best view of the Ramboda Falls that's why it was named after it. The hotel welcomes tourists who wish to take photos of the falls and/or dine for... More

This hotel had mixed reviews so we were a little hesitant before our arrival. However it more than lived up to our expectations. Set right beside the falls and built into the hillside we had a decent room with a view of three falls, We were not kept awake by the waterfall, in fact it was impossible to hear inside... More

We stayed for one night as part of a tour. The setting of the hotel is wonderful and our initial impression of our room was favourable. However, as the day wore on, the hotel experience began to decline rapidly. The service in the restaurant and bar was surly and unfriendly, with bills being placed on our table within seconds of... Stayed one night after recommendation from taxi driver. Arrived in dark. Spacious room had balcony overlooking the falls. Advised to keep outside door shut in case little animals came in. On opening the door in the morning, I wad greeted by a group of friendly monkeys. Although I'm sure they could be quite aggressive if we had eaten outside. The... More

We were in a room where we could directly look at the water falls from a close distance from our balcony. Apart from this, the hotel was very very minimal. They can improve the furnishings and make it a much better looking place. Service was ok. Food was average, not much of a choice. We stayed here for couple of... More

We arrived late in the afternoon just as a steady rain began. The hotel is situated on a steep slope. One arrives arrives in the parking lot. Then, guests and their bags are offloaded into the hotel's shuttle bus for the steep switch-back descent to the reception area. After check-in we took the elevator DOWN 4 floors, exited, crossed the... More
