Great new owners with several updates!! We were treated so kindly! Saturday night when we returned we had a warm dessert awaiting us. After speaking with Deb she informed us that there would be a fire in the fire pit shortly and to feel free kicking our feet up. She also offered us several movies to watch. Sunday morning we... I booked the entire cottage for 14 girls for my one of my best friend's bachelorette parties. Deborah was so helpful throughout the entire planning process, even offered to call other hotels/inns when we thought we had more people than would fit in her cottage. She was very accommodating to our tight schedule. The rooms were very comfortable, we had... More

My Bachelorette party booked up the entire property. The rooms were adorably and warmly furnished. The bed in the Garden Room is more comfortable than my own! Deborah went the extra mile to ensure our stay was wonderful: she left us a small gift, party favors, and even made up the chaise lounge in the Garden Room when an extra... More

My husband and I stayed in the Garden Room and it was fabulous! It was quiet, comfortable, cozy with great décor. We both had a great night sleep both evenings and woke up to great breakfasts. In the evening, we sat on the screened-in front porch just chilling. The Innkeeper and interim Innkeeper were both delightful to talk to and... More

My husband and I stayed in the Wash House to celebrate our 25th anniversary and it was perfect. We did not see any of the other rooms, but I would be delighted to stay in the Wash House again...I hope we don't wait another 25 years before we return to Elsah. Unfortunately we were only able to stay one night... More

My sister's wedding party stayed here, and Michelle and the gang pulled out all the stops in ensuring everything went smoothly. Kudos, kudos, kudos! Situated in a quiet B&B area, the town of Elsah is almost like stepping back in time. A quaint, quiet place to unwind, relax and let the stress levels come down. We stayed in the Gables,... More

I don't typically enjoy the bread and breakfast lodging format. As a frequent traveling, I want to get to my destination, do my job and get back home. I am one of those travelers who enjoys the relative anonymity of the Hilton or Marriott chains. However, I recently stayed in the Gables at the Maple Leaf cottages in Elsah, IL.... More

If you want to get away for a bit this is the place to go. The town is small old and quaint and reminds you of an old new England town and the Maple Leaf Cottages are quiet lovely old places the breakfasts are wonderful and the hills are just right for biking or the bluffs are great for hiking.... We have stayed at the Maple Leaf Inn approximately 12 times over the last 15 years. We have given gift certificates to the Inn as shower and wedding gifts. Every time we have visited the Inn we have exjoyed ourselves immensely. We have stayed in each of the rooms and really can not say that we love one room more... More

My husband and I spent Memorial Day weekend in Elsah at the Maple Leaf Inn Bed and Breakfast. It was so quaint and very charming. Elsah is a historical village with stone houses and narrow streets. Maple Leaf is tucked away inside this village that they say "where time stands still". The breakfast was superb every morning and the atmosphere... More
