Easy access to I70 or 57, lots of pull thru sites, level and very friendly. Nice little bar and 3 video slot machines. Directions in Good Sam campground book are good, if you pick up a IL campground guide, it takes several turns. Off the beaten path, but close enough to the interstates.

If you are looking for a clean, friendly campground with mostly 50 amp, full hook-ups, lots of pull-thru sites and reasonable camping fees, then this is the place to stay. The sites are graveled, mostly level, with multiple hookup options for sewer hoses. They also have basic cable (included) and a decent wi-fi signal. This campground is under new ownership... More

We tent camped at the end of September. Campground hosts Mike & Peggy were great. The bathrooms were large and very clean. The tent sites were small and could have been raked (they were full of some sort of nut from the trees above) but there is convenient water access at each site. Free wifi - a little sketchy but... Used the Good Sam listing to find this place. We where very surprised with the spot right above the lake. We even had a deck to sit out on in the morning. The fall colors where great and the hosts were very helpful and professional. We highly recommend this campground for overnight or for a couple of weeks stay. We... More

Stopped overnight during a trip cross country. Level sites, comparatively easy to get our 45 foot motorhome and toad onto and out of the site. Easy access to the interstates, but without the all night roar of traffic, ditto for the trains ... they were nearby, but not loud enough to disturb us. We had heavy rains and storms overnight... This was a wonderful park, wonderful staff AND super easy instructions to the Campground. It looked like it would be tough to find but it was easy. The park is very clean. Best part a diesel station with easy access before returning to hwy.

Our second stay this year. Once going west and once coming back. A very nice campground with shaded sites. If you stop in the fall you will hear the walnuts/acorns dropping. A nice lake that is easily walked to. Ample areas to walk the dogs. Very nice restrooms and showers. Doors on bathroom stalls in the women's room would be... More

We were surprised to see such a well maintained rv park in the area. It's surrounded by huge walnut trees and very shaded. It sits on a lake where you can fish or even rent out a boat. The hosts are a very nice couple. The gift shop has a good variety of items as well.

This was the cheapest, cleanest, and nicest cabin we stayed in on our way from PA to NE and back again. The bathrooms smelled wonderful and were immaculate. The campsite was well organized and maintained. We had to arrive late and leave early so not much time for exploring. They were very good about accommodating our late arrival so we... More

We stayed here one night on our way to Ohio and the RV Park was very clean; safe; and spacious. The Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially when we needed the assistance of a mobile RV repair!
