The hotel's website says "Pets are allowed on first floor ONLY". When I called to confirm this (we have a pet allergy) Linda told me they also allow pets on each of the other floors if guests need to but they try to not allow them in their two new rooms on the fourth floor. We had car trouble & the kids were cranky so this was an unexpected stay. The Holiday Inn Express front desk was very friendly & helpful. We had a pet, so we had to stay in a smoking room. I was a little hesitant about that becuase I know what smoking rooms smell like. But to my surprise, the room was so clean. The shower was so good too, I've never been to a Holiday Inn that had a shower head and shower like that. The... more

While this is an older inn and could use some updated decorating, the staff was wonderful, the breakfast above average and the room super quiet. We couldn't have asked for more after a long day of traveling - and dodging the tornado that went through that area. The young man at the desk seemed especially aware of guests worries about... more

The hotel is spotless. The pool and surrounding room were warm and clean. The staff was efficient and friendly. They served cookies to my son while we cheked in. more
