My husband and I had the opportunity to stay at the Captain Merry and very much enjoyed our experience. We stayed in the Mediterranean room - which was lovely. I really was impressed at how the room had a bedroom with a separate sitting area. I spent time just curled up with a book in the comfy chair in our sitting room. Every room is breathtaking...the colors, wallpaper, and attention to detail are very much worth taking in. We also enjoyed a very nice dinner, I had Salmon and my husband had the Tenderloin, and both were excellent. We had a very nice time enjoying the atmosphere as well as the food. We also had a couple glasses of wine in the lounge. Prior to leaving we both had spa services...my husband had a massage and I had a haircut and facial. We were impressed with all of our services. Overall, the staff was very attentive to our needs and ensured we were comfortable. We left very relaxed and satisfied. I would absolutely recommend The Captain Merry – we plan to visit... more
