I stayed in Residence Inn, Deerfield for almost 3 weeks in dec 2008. I loved the place because of its homely atmosphere.. I didnt feel at all that i was staying in a hotel. I stayed here for 1 1/2 weeks on an extended business trip. Even though the address is Lake-Cook Road, the location is really within a business park off Lake-Cook Road, which I see as a benefit (probably much quieter). This was a fantastic hotel for those who travelers who need the space. There was an acoustic issue, but it seemed rather insignificant for our purposes. Overall, I was much more satisfied than I expected. more

I am using Residence Inn Chicago Deerfield's free in-room internet as I write this. That's a nice feature, plus the free breakfasts, and its proximity to Ravinia and to the Chicago Botanic Gardens. What is not nice is that the beds are terrible. Stay here only if you want to wake up with a back problem. I was told this... more

Just completed a six night stay at the Deerfield Residence Inn over the Thanksgiving holiday. The only positive thing I can say is the location is quite good.
