No surprises sometimes is a good thing. Expecy a smooth stay, good comfort and a team that tries its best. Average to my standards except for the VERY POOR Internet connection whose bandwidth is nonexistent (45 minutes to send out a 6MB file) and whose price is unreasonable. The Hyatt Deerfield is, in one word, comfortable. The spacious lobby offers a variety of seating areas. In fact, if you catch a beautiful Chicago day, there is a pleasant courtyard with outdoor seating. The colorful hallways lead guests to rooms. This Hyatt is close to major expressways, shopping, and the Chicago Botanic Garden and the Ravinia Music Festivals. I always stay here when I visit Chicago and I've never been disappointed. The staff is helpful, the rooms are like suites and the price is always right--particularly on weekends. Free parking is another perk. More
