I just spent 3 nights at the Deerfield Hyatt. I found the service to be as good as some of the 5 star properties I have stayed in. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and helpful, and the service in the restaurant at breakfast was great. I appreciated some of the amenities this hotel offered such as a complimentary... more

These scam artists try to get you with a "package deal" and then charge you over $100 more saying that the rooms for the "package deal" are sold out. They were also very rude to me on the phone - I used to stay at Hyatts whenever I could but will never stay in one again! more

Perhaps it is just me, but when I travel I expect the comforts of home. The room was nice enough: the bed had more pillows than I knew what to do with and the A/C could frost your beer. However, I traveled ultra-light and decided to use the soap/shampoo etc. that was provided. They had nice names but weren't up... more

I live on the Illinois side of the St Louis area so it isn't a big deal driving up to the Chicago for a relaxing weekend @ the Botanic Garden.. I'm 55, retired so I drive up alone sometimes. However, this time the I-294 construction which runs right in front of the hotel made it confusing. Although the first time... more

This was our 2nd stay. The room looks a bit more spacious in website photos. Small bathroom & sink/closet area. Bumped into bedside table twice - ouch! Somewhat noisy too - loud fan/vent system; we woke up several times to these sounds (perhaps because our room was at the end of the hall?). Lack of microwave dampened our lunch plans.... more

This is a great hotel if you want no nonsense simple comfort and great service! The staff at the breakfast buffet are wonderful and they remember everything about you! The rooms are tastefully decorated, with IPOD docking stations and wireless internet service. Hands down my favorite "business hotel" in the Deerfield area. more

This hotel is very nice. Staff here were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean everything in this hotel is new. I stayed here for a Naval graduation located at Great lakes boot camp. Which is located about 15 mins way. I would recommend a car rental. This hotel is not located near any attractions. However, for the price and... more

We stayed here with a group of friends for a Saturday night. The hotel was very nice. The construction is apparently finished that was mentioned in an earlier post. The rooms were great as they had a nice sitting area where we could sit and visit with our friends. The price was great - only 109.00. I felt very ill... more

I'm not a person who expects luxury on a dime and as long as where I stay is in line with what I expect and in line with what I pay, then I'm happy. This hotel fits the bill, but it never really went above expectations either. I stayed at the Hyatt Deerfield with a group of family members for... more

I did not have a good experience. They are redecorating and they said pardon our dust but it was a lot,lot more.As you enter the hotel the whole entire capet is torn up all the way up to the lobby elavators etc.So if you are going to stay there unless you like a hotel that looks like a war zone call... more
