Pros: During the day the staff is friendly. It has places to eat and shop around it and considering Decatur is small this is a fairly nice area to be in. Its inexpensive. Cons: I am not sure if the night staff is lazy or the communication is poor for them. The lady was nice enough at night but I... More

I booked the last room they had as I was visiting Millikin University for the family weekend. This hotel had some very good reviews so I thought I would try it out. The room was dated and in need of renovation. The carpet was threadbare by the threshold. There was a mold problem in the bathroom by the shower and... More

I was just at the motel during the Decatur Days Festival. We had a wonderful stay. The staff was extremely friendly and attended to all of our needs. The room was clean and well maintained. The property around was well maintained as well. It was a quiet and peaceful experience and I highly suggest that if you come to Decatur... More

Clean, Quiet, Quaint, Great Breakfast and Gail couldn't be a nicer host if she tried. Off street parking was safe and right out back. Did we say clean & quiet! We had a relaxing stay. This was a great value and we'd co back. The Clarks!

My s/o and I got a room and then they switched us rooms to a much worse than the first one. The 2nd room had a fridge almost the size of shoebox and the microwave barely opened. The microwave had a huge hole in the side. And first rooms toilet made noise for like ten minutes after flushing it. The blankets... More

Traveling with my cheap brother-in-law, I was forced to stay at the cheapest place we could find. Turned out to be the Decatur Inn. This joint is pretty much a dump from the moment you step into the stinky lobby to check in till you leave dirty in the morning because there was no hot water for showering and shaving.... More

I stayed here a few weeks ago to visit my daughter at Millikin. The service was good and the place was fine for the price. I knew I would be making frequent trips to MU so thought this would be a great budget hotel for those visits. I have changed my mind on this visit. I would much rather pay... More

Stayed here and got an AWESOME room for the price. Had fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Two beds, comfy chair, couch, very much room. Staff was great. The bathroom was also huge. For 45$ I don't think I could've gotten any better. Definitely recommend.

For $40 night, this motel far exceeded other $40 motels. There was a mini fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, couch, and desk. Usually, in a $40 room, all you get is a bed and a television; This joint was much classier. Although the cleanliness was just above the $40 motel standard, the space and add-ons helped exceed my expectations. Again, for what... More
