If your travels take you anywhere near Dahinda (Peoria and Galesburg, IL area), you can't go wrong with a stay at The Barn Bed and Breakfast. It is on a working farm and is amazing to see what has been done in this actual barn that was reconstructed and turned into a wonderful, private accomodation. It is filled with authentic period items, from the kitchen appliances to the furniture and decorations that fill the ample space. Sandy and Mike are wonderful hosts...offering up this place of sanctuary that is clean and comfortable.......both rustic and well appointed.

The kitchen is well equipped with everything a person could need to prepare a light meal, snack or just a beverage. The living areas are very comfortable and the bathroom with clawfoot tub (also has shower) is such a neat space in what had formally been the oat bin.
