This place once was a friendly resort. New owners think they are on Lake of the Ozarks or even better. Unfriendly and unresponsive manager/owner. Hardly any parking and accommodations sup par. If you are looking for a hillbilly wedding or event this is your place. Forget about launching your boat, ramp stinks and trailer parking is a pain.

Brad, We understand that raising the rates for the boat ramp has upset some of our neighbors, but as we continue to grow and improve the resort we are forced to make some difficult decisions. Unfortunately, parking is a major issue for us and as our event business continues to grow it has become more and more difficult to accommodate... More

My now wife and I knew we wanted to get married outside. We could not decide on a venue until we attended a wedding at Egyptian Hills. From that moment we know this was our place, so we booked it. From the start the staff was fantastic, helping us with every problem and concern. We also had a planner help... More

Very difficult venue to plan with. Manager does not return phone calls or keep appointments to meet with you. Not ready for Happy Hour, ran out of steaks although order had been placed. A band had been cancelled due to weather, management had not told me there was going to be a concert in same location as our reunion. If... More

We just returned from Egyptian Hills Resort. We stayed for a week in cabin 5. The resort is very nice and clean. The cabin was a little small, but it was very comfortable and did not need any more room. Had everything you needed and was very clean. There was a man made stream that runs in-between the cabins which... More

We shared the double chalet with our friends for Labor Day weekend. 4 adults and 5 kids. What a wonderful place. The cabins were clean, comfortable and stocked with everything we would need. If we ran out of something, they were available to get us more. The deck was very large. We spent a lot of time on it. It... More

My family and I just returned from a three day, two night stay down there. There were 11 of us, 9 adults and 2 kids. We stayed in a double chalet (two cabins attached by a big deck - one cabin has a living room area, a master bedroom and bathroom and the other cabin has the kitchen, a bathroom... More

My husband and I took our three teenage boys to this resort for a family vacation. I wanted something more relaxing than our other vacations which included a pretty hefty itinerary. We arrived on a Friday evening for check-in. The owner, Micah, was very pleasant and friendly and the check-in was a breeze. He walked us to our cabin which... More

What a great time! My friend and I and our four kids, 8-12 years, rented a chalet for the week. It had a master bedroom on the main floor, and two loft bedrooms, slept six of us. Fully stocked kitchen, dishes, cups, pans, ect., one bathroom, huge wrap around deck and charcoal grill. We had a lake view. Micah, the... More

we went down before official opening May 10th - May 17th, the owners are very friendly and accommodating, the cabins are really comfortable and modern, I almost felt like we were in a adult tree house even though cabin is on the ground, it had 1 bed room but an upstairs loft with two separate areas that would sleep two... This property is in an excellent location on the north side of the Lake of Egypt. It offers easy access to both ends of the lake and shore line is great for just sitting and relaxing or throwing in a line and hoping for some bass action. The group of eight I stayed with found the double chalet to be... More
