Hotel was in pristine order all around. Was nice to find my room was a suite! Even though I was at the Double Tree for less than 12 hours, it was a great experience and I would consider it again the next time I am in Chicago.

Stayed here 5 nights in June 2013. The rooms were average, higher end rooms, nice king size bed, big big screen t.v....normal. One thing that was lacking was a refrigerator, and the bathroom was typical middle of the road hotel bathroom. The overall cleanliness was good. The Swimming pool was excellent, lots of sun and perfect temp pool.

Came into town for some baseball at Wrigley and really enjoy the weekend. There are much nicer hotels in Chicago, for sure, but it's hard to get a better value. The rooms are small but good. Parking isn't as overpriced as some of the other hotels in Chicago and the restuarant is very nice with a great breakfast for any... More

We picked this hotel because it was close to everything and had a bar. We never utilized the bar because it closed before we got back tot he hotel every night (usually by 10-10:30). Other than that everything was great. Would probably stay there again on my next trip back to Chicago.

We stayed here for a family graduation. Took a two queen bed room, which was ample in size for the 3 of us (mom, dad, sibling of graduate). The room was perfectly clean, beds comfortable, quiet, and a great location. My only "comment" is that the minibar charges you if you just open the door to see what is inside.... More

The location of this hotel is great, just blocks away from MIchigan Avenue, Navy Pier, and even Millennium Park. Even with all of that, you are in a highly residential area where you see residents walking their dogs, amenities like grocery stores and pharmacies are close by, and there are small green spaces nestled among the buildings. We had a... More

I booked this hotel following a recommendation from a colleague. Its in a great location and I had a large room with a great view of the Lake. The Hotel has a great bar and restaurant and serves great food albeit that the portions are too large. In sunny June the rooftop swimming pool is a blessing after a busy... More

Just got home from a great weekend vacation in Chicago. The location of this hotel is perfect. Ten minute walking distance to Mag Mile and Navy Pier. Staying in Streeterville

Neighborhood Profile
Streeterville
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
