Convenient to everything and the service from the front desk was outstanding. They were friendly and engaging and went all out to welcome me and at my departure. Generously sized rooms and perfectly clean. As a member, my room included a free breakfast which provided ample choices and even a cappuccino machine. Great way to start the day. Taxis always... Lovely people, great location, two good restaurants and the best of service made this a great find for a quick stay. I will plan to go back. The bar is a great place to hang out (The Local) and the Executive Lounge is well attended.

The view of the lake was great, the room was very clean room. There are two restaurants in the hotel and so many more within walking distance. The doormen always help with getting transportation, just when it is needed.

The hotel property itself is nice. With that being said I was very disappointed with the staff. Twice the front office staff gave us attitude and was very disrespectful. On our check out day we had asked a bellmen to assist us with getting our bags down. What a joke. He said okay I will be right there just to... More

Fab location: Magnificent Mile area is a great central point in Downtown Chicago. The high street is nearby. Decent restaurants are walking distance. The great Michigan lake is stone's throw away. A walk down Michigan Avenue towards Millennium Park (30 min) is highly recommended. Do visit the restaurant on 95th floor of Hancock Center. It's right next door to Hilton... More

We were in Chicago to celebrate my birthday and despite it being Chicago in January, we had a great time. The hotel location is great (across the street from the John Hancock Center and one block Water Tower Place on the Magnificent Mile). The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a nice size. My only compliant... More

We spent the weekend here and really enjoyed our stay. The restaurant was excellent and the HHonors happy hour was great! The staff were all very friendly and always willing to lend a hand. The view of the lake was excellent, once the weather cleared up.

We live in a Chicago suburb and we just decided to have a family fun weekend in the city. We stayed in a king suite on the executive floor overlooking the lake. My husband and I slept in the bedroom and the three kids slept in the living room (two on the sofa bed and one on the airbed that... More

This hotel is just a block from Michigan Ave. and about 2 blocks from the lake. The suite rooms have a mini bar with small ref. and microwave, counter and sink in a living area with desk, sofa, and large TV; a comfortable bedroom with another large TV; and nice bathroom. Great to visit Chicago, maybe eat breakfast and dinner... More

The hotel was average. There are definitely nicer hotels in Chicago but if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in a prime location, then you won't be disappointed. Although I was satisfied with the location and the price, I do have a few comments. The hotel needs updating. The sofa sleeper had a rip on the cushion. The... More

Staying in Streeterville

Neighborhood Profile
Streeterville
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
