Great central location in the loop area of chicago. Easy to get to el stations including easy transport from ohare airport. Room was massive as was the super comfy bed. Tv had plenty of channels, strong wifi and the bathroom was ample sized. Overall a cool vibe hotel, with comfy bed in a great central location.

I go to Chicago often and enjoy trying different hotels. Allegro was one that I would definitely go to again. I got a great deal online which was an added bonus. My husband travels a lot, so he has stayed in Kimpton hotels before and enjoyed Hotel Allegro. It is located South of the river in the Loop/Financial District. At... More

Over the years this hotel has always been one of my top favorites to return to in Chicago, Illinois and recently the hotel underwent a renovation which now makes it one of the more glamorous, historical hotels I have seen in quite some time. Upon arrival the friendly staff at the front desk gave my kitty some love and a... More

Nice blend of old art deco and modern kimpton fiunk. rooms were nicely proportioned, wonderful lobby ( which is now even better after the renovation) in a very central location with easy access to theatre/restaurants/transport. The staff also stepped up to make a great experience during a hectic conference week. Our group also managed to check out the group-meeting catering... More

The Allegro is a great hotel for the price and location. We stayed there for an event at The United Center and it was a short cab ride away. It also has tons of eating and shopping options right outside their doors. The rooms are small, but they are modern and clean! We liked that the rooms were very dark,... More

My family stays at the Hotel Allegro often and we always have a wonderful experience. The rooms are beautiful and the staff is efficient, knowledgeable and always smiling. We stayed at the hotel again last week and unfortunately a member of our party was ill. Everyone at the hotel was so accommodating and helpful for us and made our bad... More

The hotel is very trendy and I really wanted to like it, but over a three day stay there were just too many strikes against it to ignore. Strike 1 - the rooms are tiny, I mean small. I can't count how many times we banged our shins or tripped over things because there is just no room to put... More

It sounds like we really dropped the ball during your stay and have some things to... More

Stayed here for a business trip. The hallways are black and very dark - seem outdated. The hotel room was very small and had no view. The closet was so small that there was no room to hang a dress so that it did not hit the floor. The bathroom was very tiny. The bed was very comfortable. The location... More

We're big fans of Kimptons and this trip was no exception! Gorgeous, newly renovated hotel (you could still smell the new carpet smell!) with a fantastic lobby. Check in was easy and the added extras for our birthday trip were a surprise and gratefully received! The lobby/bar area is large enough to fit everyone that wants to take advantage of... More

Positives: -Nice views. We were placed on a higher floor so noise wasn't an issue. We faced the train and thought it might be noisy but you could hardly hear it. -Room and bathroom were very spacious but I think we may have had a handicap accessible room. Which, I believe to be the reason for the generous amounts of... More
