Stayed here on a Friday evening. Check-in, Check-out were great. Valet helpful, timely. Though I didn't use the doorman to take bags to room, he gave great advice on things to do within hotel. Room very clean. Great location as it relates to proximity to River (2 blocks), theater district (5 blocks over bridge), Miracle Mile (3 blocks), El station... More

I never stayed at this hotel and only heard that the area was not desirable. It couldn't be farther from the truth! It was in walking distance to great restaurants and a couple blocks off Michigan Ave and the river. The king room was laid out in a non-traditional hotel style so that the bed (which was like heaven) faced... More

Stayed here for a weekend with friends and enjoyed the hotel. Staff was friendly, room was clean. Nothing fancy, just a good hotel. It was a bit noisy but that is city life! Subway was very close by. Good restaurants in walking distance.

I stayed here for a girls weekend with my friend and our 20 year-old daughters. The location is great. Close to shopping and lots of restaurants. This hotel is pretty much what you would expect from a Courtyard. The room was clean and sufficient. They provided a make-up mirror which was greatly appreciated, but we would have liked another mirror... More

We booked 2 rooms for the weekend of the Chicago marathon. We arrived super early, since our flights got in around 9am. The person at the desk explained that they didnt have two rooms together that were ready, but they could give us one and we could get the other one later when it was ready and they would call... Glad I stayed here. The rest of my group paid $105 more a night at a hotel 4 minutes away. Granted the bathroom area is smaller but the staff make up for it by providing outstanding service and the fact that they radiate that they like to work here. I will stay here again next time in Chicago.

There was nothing special about this hotel other than the location. Room was small but adequate, clean and otherwise comfortable. The bar and restaurant off the lobby was very nice, but there are sooo mant nice restaurants nearby that i don't many folks eat dinner here.

Average, rather inconspicuous hotel with a fairly good location close to the river and Michigan Avenue. Rooms are smallish, especially the bathroom and bathroom sink area -- think Econolodge; barely enough room on the sink counter to place your stuff. There is a card in the bathroom that suggests you make the "smart choice" and reuse bath towels; you're dumb... More

Thank you for giving us your valuable feedback, we have noted that during your stay you thought that our rooms were small however the location of the hotel was good. In addition you also felt that there was barely enough room on the sink to place your toiletries and the outside deck looked like a scene from the Soviet Era.... More

I can not say enough about the amazing staff. Tabatha, and all of the staff, bent over backward to accommodate a sick member of our party. They really made a tough experience fantastic! The hotel has a great location so you can walk everywhere. The bedding was to die for. The restaurant was awesome too. We will be back!

The Courtyard Chicago Downtown River North is an average Marriott Courtyard property that is well-located in the heart of the city. There are many great restaurants in easy walking distance. The prices are high, as with all Chicago hotels particularly when conventions are in town (which is always). Valet parking for instance is $62 per day. However, my car appeared... More

Thank you for giving us your valuable feedback, we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us, however from your rating we have some room for improvement. We noted that you thought that the hotel was well appointed, but our lobby was crowded and the decor seemed a bit outdated. You also mentioned that the desk area provided enough... More
