This hotel was a gem of a find. We are avid travelers and even brought two 13-year-olds on this particular trip. Both rooms were very comfortable, stylishly decorated and had access to everything in the city from where we were. Beds were super comfortable, bar and breakfast areas were great and the staff goes out of their way to accommodate.... More

Stayed at this hotel and were upgraded to a corner suite on highest floor, because it was my birthday--way to go. Views and room were amazing. Did exercise room as well pool. Location was perfect- walked down Michigan Avenue to restaurants, also did some sightseeing.

We use tripadvisor often, but this is my first review. After reading multiple reviews, we had requested an upper level corner suite (because of noise complaints from previous reviewers) ... And we got it. The room was beautiful and perfect for a family of four. We had a king bed with a pull out queen sofa bed. The suite was... More

This hotel gets top marks for being very clean and well maintained. The staff was great and the location was perfect for the places we wanted to visit. I ranked it lower on value and rooms because the restaurant was fairly expensive and the guest room lighting could be improved (in my opinion). However, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here... More

I stayed here 3 nights and enjoyed it. The rooms are nicely appointed, well maintained ( I check the the tub chalking) and was located right in the middle of top sights in Chicago. Unfortunately this level of a hotel in Chicago comes with a price. I also didn't like the $61/ day parking. I chose a car lot down... More

I booked the hotel off of Expedia and we were upgraded when we arrived to a king bed on the 11th floor in the corner, we had a great view of the city. Starbucks is actually attached to this hotel. Room was very clean, modern, comfortable. We had breakfast room service and it was delicious. We went to the pool... More

My girlfriend and I took her 6 year old daughter to Chicago for a few days to shop (American Girl Doll Store at the top of the list!), enjoy museums, etc. We chose to stay at this particular Hyatt due to the location (close to Water Tower/other shopping) and I got a pretty decent price (considering it's Chicago and close to... Loved the hotel..great location and wonderful service. Refurbished rooms are really spacious and modern. We were warned about the ambulance sounds since the hotel is near a hospital but it really didnt bother us and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Chicago.

When a $300+ per night hotel nicks you for over $60/nite for parking a car, and wants $10-15/day for WiFi they are clearly trying to take advantage of guests instead of charging the room rate they want. Nice rooms, some nice people, but a lousy, disorganized stay.
