I was in downtown Chicago for Michigan State University's Hospitality Business Annual Gathering of Leaders May 17-19th and it was my first stay at the Sheraton Hotel & Towers. I was upgraded to a suite (unbelievable...even had a telescope to watch the boats out on Lake Michigan) and EVERY person I met who worked for the hotel was both very... More

We had a great experience here. The hotel staff were wonderful, helpful, friendly, knowledgable about the city. We enjoyed the space in the lobby, complimented by the bar and private nooks around it for conversation, iPad communications and reading. Our room was lovely....not huge, but quite adequate and the view was spectacular looking out over the river and the city.... More

This hotel provides clean, modern, attractive rooms and most necessary amenities for the business traveler, but not all. Critically, the hotel internet service does not extend to the large convention meeting rooms, making the service useless for most business purposes. Dining at the hotel was spotty. The river-level cafe's menu was extremely limited, consisting of burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches, caesar... More

Sheraton Chicago was a good value and good location. The CTA bus route 124 right out the door goes to the loop, Nay Pier and commuter rail stations. Nice fitness facility and very friendly staff. Club floor also quite nice- two levels overlooking the river and lakefront.

Stayed here over the Memorial Day weekend......what a great choice. The location is SUPERB! Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, great dining. Rooms were very clean, river view is a must. Bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Very convenient location.

Room not ready at 3:45pm for check in, waited another hour - even when was told to check-in early by 12pm. Gift boxes delivered 48 hours earlier to hotel- not delivered to rooms till 24 hours late (after paying for the service.) Rooms are adequate. Beware valet parking 61$ per night. Would recommend another hotel for wedding parties or groups... More

The hotel looked nice on the reviews. When we got there it looked like a ugly dump. It was VERY dated and the pool was so small! Sure it was in a nice location, but other thank that.....YUCK! We paid extra for the club lounge and that was NOT WORTH IT! It was dirty, and offerd gross, and once moldy,food.... More

I checked out of this hotel and got a copy of my bill, it was correct. I was at this point very happy with the hotel although it is expensive. On arrival into the UK they sent me a revised bill charging me for a bottle of wine which was charged an hour and a half after I checked out.... More

Stayed two nights on our way to Houston. We stayed at the executive floor. Good size room with a fantastic view of the Chicago river and the scyscrapers. Very comfy beds. The bathroom was OK - nothing more to say. We had access to the executive lounge. We have experienced bette at Hyatt and Hilton. Did not find the breakfast... More

Staying in Streeterville

Neighborhood Profile
Streeterville
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
