3 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Stayed in a great room. Location couldn't have been better. Think the renovation was just about wrapped up--didn't bother us at all. Felt icky, though, when the doormen ignored my family multiple times as we entered and exited. Yeah, we have kids and dress casually and carry backpacks--we're obviously not business travelers. At first I thought they were just ignoring... More

Stayed here on a business trip. The location was perfect. So many great restaurants in walking distance. The lower level of the building has many businesses such as a convenience store, barber shop, Starbucks, Chase Bank. I had a room with a king size bed. The staff was kind enough to convert my room to 'feather free' since i am... More

Let me say first that this has been my favorite hotel in the US for nearly 20 years. I am in Chicago at least once a year on business, and my daughter now lives there, so we get to Chicago even more often. I have probably stayed here 25 times. I loved the place; it felt like coming home. The... More

Wanted to try a new location in Chicago and found this to be a great location & value. The rooms are well appointed, nicely sized, quiet & very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was very delicious, perfect portions & priced right. As I said, the location on Wacker is centrally located & allows for easy walking to a variety... More

I stayed with my family while they were remodeling the lobby and was able to see the impressive transformation. During the remodeling phase all staff were very accommodating. The staff helped me with every request and we aren't the easiest to please! :) The hotel is in a perfect location and we were able to walk everywhere. If I am... More

The was only a one night stay so it is hard to provide a lot of detail. I can say the service was excellent. Check in was easy. A little bit of a wait for the elevators. Nice neighbor with a lot of restaurants. The hotel was finishing their new lobby the evening of check in so we were walking... More

The location is excellent - next to the subway & 1/2 mile from the Chicago Art Institute, Miracle Mile, etc. All of the staff were excellent - friendly & very helpful. We were given a room upgrade (it's wonderful to be a Marriott member!) and had a corner room with a lovely sitting area. The breakfast buffet was plentiful &... More

Fantastic hotel located on the river, just 5 minutes away by walk from the Miracle Mile shopping area and enough bars and restaurants and other kind of shopping around it. Lobby is beautiful and rooms are pretty nice. I was upgraded to a river view room and it's a breathtaking view let me tell you that. One thing I found... More

This is the second time I have stayed here. The remodel is awesome. When I checked is I jokingly asked for a room with a view. And the gave me one looking at the Chicago Theater. Great place. I highly recommend staying here. The sliders at the bar is very good too.

Check in was a breeze. I used Marriotts mobil check-in and they had my key ready and it literally couldn't have been easier. The new lobby opened during our stay, and it's a hip place with a great bartending/serving staff. The Irish bartender is a wonderful guy that is great to talk to; Donna is a great server with a...
