Rooms do have minor flaws (mainly age). Location is great and the price is very fair. We had a great corner suite on a high floor so maybe I'm biased. Very basic coffee shop and basic gym. Elevators a bit of an issue. Two very small ones so you'll need to take that in stride.

Stayed at the Raffaello Hotel in Chicago only one night. Was able to check in early and the room was modern, clean and comfortable. Great location in the middle of the city (as far as I could tell). Easy to get cabs and close to subway system.

Arrived in Chicago after a long 10 hour drive during our summer cross country road trip. First time in this city. Found a good deal on this hotel as we were looking for a spot to stay within walking distance of major attractions and restaurants etc after being on the road all day. Arrived and pulled up to the curb... More

Recently stayed at the Raffaello and really enjoyed it. Very clean with a very friendly staff. We also got a complimentary upgrade to a suite which was awesome! Very close to magnificent mile and lots of restaurants. Drumbar on the roof top is such a fun time with a great atmosphere. Highly recommend staying here!

A nicely located boutique hotel in the heart of the magnificent mile. Chose because of location and price. Overall worth the price. Room (#1011) was spacious (one of the biggest on the floor and sizes vary in this old hotel), bathroom huge (don't really know why). Seems to have been recently updated. What brings the rating down to average is... More

Front desk staff was unbelievably nice and met our every need...directions, recommendations, help with luggage, etc. Free coffee for Keurig was replentished nightly. Room was incredibly large and came furnished with soft and plush bath robes, and bathroom was modern and lovely. The location was perfect, just about a block off of Michigan Ave and near everything. We even received... More

We had a great time here! Arrived late on a Saturday night for a three night stay in Chicago. The room was really well set-up: comfortable bed, wonderful rainfall shower, thought-out amenities (everyone loves a mini-fridge to stash leftover pizza), and tempting mini-bar. We never made it up to the roof bar (not like you can't find enough places to... More

Everything about this hotel is exquisitely considered. The service is impeccable and courteous. Front office manager Earline Pirtle is a true gem and treated us like family even though she didn't know me from "Adam." Who would have thought that Chicago's best doughnuts are right inside the lobby. Be sure to try the doughnuts and coffee at Glazed & Infused... More

Staying in Streeterville

Neighborhood Profile
Streeterville
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
