If you're going to splurge stay in these rooms. Not only do they have luxury upgrades i.e. automatic blinds control, motion sensing lights, dimmers, nice tub etc. Their beds are SO PLUSH! If you're here to shop everything is a walk out the door to oak street shops/ restaurants as well as all of michigan avenue. Nomi is ok. Research... More

I have stayed in here for six nights. Every thing seems to be perfect from the moment we arrived to the check out moment. Location is a big bonus where every thing you would thing of will be within a walking distance, such as restaurants, shopping, convenient stores public transportation and more.... Front desk employees were so well trained. I... More

This is a classic Park Hyatt, as you'd expect in Hyatt's home town. Generous room sizes, dark woods, lovely bathrooms, luxury linens and understated classy fittings and decor. Initial welcome was very warm and the doormen were among the best I've experienced. It was the service in the Nomi restaurant that was so variable. I stayed over a weekend and... More

I attended a conference here; fantastic hotel. Spacious rooms; mine had a reasonable view and if you don’t want the AC on you can open the windows. The beds are so comfortable I had the best night’s sleep for years, literally; I didn’t want to get up. The Nomi kitchen and bar serve Asian food which was excellent albeit slightly... More

I loved the hotel, my room was beautiful and spacious (particuarly in comparision to my hotel in NYC where I'd stayed previously!). The restaurant and bar was fantastic with a wonderful view. The staff were friendly and helpful. The design and style is smart, sophisticated and relaxing rather than ostentatious. I really enjoyed staying here.

My wife and I stayed at the Park Hyatt last weekend and easily concluded that this was one of the nicest hotels in Chicago. The room was perfect, the bed was extremely comfortable and the shower gets an A+. Service was exceptional and you can't beat the location. Discovered a great breakfast/brunch place a block away called "Sunnyside Up and... More

Only stayed here one night, but front desk service, room service, spa experience perfect in every way. Very comfortable, quiet room. Spa waiting room was small but it was not busy so it didn't matter. Beautiful pool and hot tub. Will be coming back.

Stayed here for three nights recently. Great location, just by the water tower. We had a wonderful view of the lake and the tower. Service throughout our stay was impeccable. The restaurant was very good, though we found the breakfast and laundry service expensive. Only criticism is that the bedrooms are ready for refurbishment, they are quite tired, although the... Staying in Magnificent Mile

Neighborhood Profile
Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
