As a Hyatt Diamond member, I have stayed at probably 100 properties worldwide. This property ranks among my favorite. I had to stay in downtown Chicago for a conference (live in the Chi burbs) and was thrilled to get to stay at this Park Hyatt for the first time. Regular old room, but it was beautiful - modern decor, great... More

Very quiet, comfortable and convenient. Awesome city and lake view. One of the nicest places in any city. I would go to Chicago just to stay here, and always stay when I need to be in Chicago, even if my meeting is in another hotel.

I stay at the Park Hyatt for the first time during this trip and this was my first time stay in this area – I usually stay on Lakeshore … and this property was fabulous! My room was amazing! I overlooked Michigan Ave, and could see all the way down to the Lake. The staff was so accommodating, we were... More

El Primo. We were just overwhelmed with the experience. I've responded to their survey numerous times about the possibility of actually living there. If adoption is required, I'm all good with that. Oops, the review says I must have 200 characters here... so, I could invite my friends from the Melrose pool hall. I probably shouldn't...

Nothing but the finest accommodations. Great Hotel and Staff. Location is great and close to Downtown shopping. Building is one of the best in Chicago. Hyatt always comes through and this is no exception.

If you love going out in night, this is the perfect hotel. Close to almost everything. It is very convenient and very friendly staff. One of the Host walked me to elevators from the desk, I felt like how my family welcome me when I go back home. It makes you happy.

Fantastic accommodations, service, dining and all in the heart of Chicago's Water Tower Place. I would recommend the Park Hyatt to all friends and family visiting Chicago. I've stayed here several times and without exception, the experience is exquisite.

Staying in Magnificent Mile

Neighborhood Profile
Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
